Alzo International is promoting two silicone elastomers for cosmetic applications. The NuLastic Surf line includes three materials:Surfa D99, Surfa ID and Surfa DM, are divinyldimethicone crosspolymers swollen in cosmetic solvents. They provide accelerated hydrophilic transport, w/o emulsification and elegant skin feel. Typical water absorption is 30% at 6% polymer.
